They are great, and very friendly. They were very caring when I brought my animals in. They also were wonderful when one of my dogs passed. They also know how to handle my other dogs as he gets protective of me, and they do his care and stuff when I'm out of the room. I'm very happy I have them caring for my animals.

My boy can be a bit gruff, but is actually a very loving dog. Staff was so sweet and kind to him. He did far better with his visit than he ever has with his previous vet. I can not be more grateful with the care he was given. I was provided with detailed, step by step information of how his visit went, and everything that was done. They alleviated an immense amount of anxiety for myself and my boy.

Really unpleasant experience. If you want to go to a place that makes you feel “less than” because you have less resources to cater towards your pet, this is the perfect place for you. They critiqued my dogs blood lines, hips at 8 weeks old (hips which aren’t fully formed until 2 years), critiqued the dog trainer we invested in, it NEVER felt like we were given any credit for how hard we were working as a family to care for our cherished pets. It felt like extortion every time we went. Issues that were not extreme or well clarified were handled as though they were catastrophic and potentially fatal. When we declined to proceed with the extreme and invasive interventions they recommended (that costed 2k and required that he be completely “put under” and stay at the vet all day) the vibe we got when we declined was that we were making the wrong choice towards caring for our animals. They didn’t even acknowledge my feedback that we felt their recommended interventions were overly extreme and unwarranted given the unknowns - and that we found it inappropriate that they recommended explorative interventions to try and “find” a potential (or not potential) issue that they came to a 2k price tag. Briar patch staff could easily trigger panic - and they tend to make l mountains out of mole hills! When I tried to transfer care they sent a manuscript of every email/text exchange. They document concerns that they don’t even have evidence for. Honestly it was a very upsetting experience. We were excited to welcome our new family member/puppy home, and they made us feel like there were 1,001 issues with our puppy that when we visited a different vet were deemed unwarranted. If you want to feel judged, picked apart, this is the place for you. They present as though they cater towards wealthy people who have unlimited resources. In addition I want to let you all know the rooms are very small, the space feels crowded even when you are the only one in the space. If your dog struggles at the vet they will treat you like it is a behavioral management issue that you failed to address correctly as opposed to the space, set up, and difficult experience for the dog. They are all smiles to your face, but they make negative assumptions and you will feel it in the way they communicate. They act as though having a pet is a privilege for the wealthy even though we go out of our way to prioritize our pets wellbeing. Very disappointing experience. Created more stress than it was worth.
